"Lackluster support for delivery issues"
I needed help from Outnorth due to some delivery hiccups (it took 20 days for my package to reach the pick-up point) since the delivery service required the sender to file a complaint. The package had already been bouncing back and forth between Outnorth, Sweden, and Finland, and was at risk of being sent back to Sweden again unless I figured it out myself. (PostNord mentioned there was a mix-up between myPack Home and myPack Collect.)

Stars:
-One star for finally getting the shipment (even though I had to deal with PostNord on my own without any help from Outnorth)
-Second star for the responses to my questions, which usually came within two days from Outnorth.

Outnorth could've snagged more stars with a bit of proactive effort:
-Staying in touch with PostNord to find out why my shipment was sent back instead of delivered (PostNord doesn’t share these details with the recipient).
-Keeping me updated on their investigations into the delivery issues, which didn’t seem to make a difference or show any proof of action in the first place.

I reckon things could've been sorted out quicker, saving me a lot of hassle, if Outnorth had taken the steps mentioned above.

"Discriminatory and Unprofessional Business Practices"
This company gives discounts on everything for folks from Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway, but it leaves out 'international customers.' They really seem to categorize us Europeans into first-class and second-class citizens. It's just an unprofessional and discriminatory way to do business.

"Money Not Refunded (Issue Resolved)"
The issue I mentioned earlier has been sorted out. Sadly, it took nearly 20 days to get it fixed. I'm willing to give this shop another shot. :) I'm bumping my rating from 1 to 3. I ordered a winter coat from Outnorth, and everything was smooth until I needed to return it because I picked the wrong size. That's when the trouble began. After one failed delivery attempt on November 8, Outnorth didn’t come to collect the item back. Now it's November 22, and the package is still sitting here. I even bought another jacket from them (was that a dumb move?), but I’m still waiting for my refund from the first order. Their customer support keeps making promises, but there’s no real proof they’ll follow through. I’ll update this review if anything changes. As it stands, Outnorth owes me 158 EUR.

"Positive shopping experience at outnorth.com"
In 2021, I made a couple of orders as a guest. Even with the distance from Sweden to Taiwan, the shipping was quick, and the products matched what was shown online. I’ll definitely shop at outnorth.com again.

"Positive Shopping Journey"
Had a positive shopping journey. I've placed multiple orders with Outnorth, and they've come through each time. I did need to return a few items since they didn't meet my expectations, but it wasn't due to any mistakes on their part. Outnorth handled the returns smoothly and issued a refund. Definitely giving them 5 stars!

"Not a webshop I'd suggest to pals, took a PayPal dispute to sort things out"
I ordered some hiking boots from Outnorth, and they were pretty affordable compared to other sites. The delivery was on time, but those boots were squeezing my toes, so I had to send them back.

That's when the trouble began. There was no return form in the package, so I searched their website for it. All I found was a FAQ with a return address, so I shipped the boots back to Sweden just a day after I got them (2 May) and noted on the invoice why I was returning them and requested a refund.

I sent the order back with tracking, and by 8 May, I got a notification that Outnorth had received it. I know it can take a while to process returns, especially with larger companies, so I waited until 14 May to reach out to them.

I inquired about when they would refund my PayPal account since my shipping company confirmed they had the returned item.

Within a couple of hours, I heard back from Outnorth, saying I needed to use a return form that I could download from a link they provided. At first, I thought I might have overlooked something, but it turned out the link didn’t have a return form (and still doesn’t as I write this). So, I had to send another email asking where I could find the return form.

The next day, I received an apology for this "bug on our website" and was informed that I didn’t really need the form; I could just write on a piece of paper what I was returning and whether I wanted an exchange or a refund.

Since that’s exactly what I had done, I started to doubt their efficiency. To make sure they understood, I laid out everything in my reply email, detailing what I had done and what I expected from them.

On 16 May, I got a response saying they hadn’t registered my return yet and that I would be notified once it was processed.

Then on 21 May, I received an email confirming they had my return order and that my refund would be processed within 7-10 days.

This was confusing. Not wanting to be a nuisance, I decided to wait a few more days to see what would happen.

By 27 May, I asked Outnorth again when I could expect my PayPal refund since they had acknowledged my return on 21 May.

I didn’t hear back from them.

Since I needed to file a dispute on PayPal within 45 days of my purchase, I didn’t want to wait any longer, so on 2 June, I opened a dispute. I briefly explained what had happened and what I wanted.

That same day, I received my refund, not just for the order but also for my initial shipping costs. I finally got a response to my last email, where they expressed their apologies for the delay, which they attributed to a mix-up that caused them to treat my return as a complaint. They also offered me a 10% discount on my next purchase, valid for one month.

In the end, I got my money back, but it took a lot of hassle and wasted time. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, as it took a PayPal dispute to get things moving.
